Pound Cake

Nothing too much to say about this recipe which is already so well known. The only important thing is to respect exactly the recipe ingredients and steps then you will get a perfect cake.


Ingredients:

300 g flour (sifted)
300 g sugar
6 eggs
250 g buttermilk
200 g butter (softened)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 pinch of salt

Method

Preheat oven to 325 F and grease a 10 inch tube pan. Prepare your mixer with paddle attachment.
In a bowl beat the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract together. In another bowl, mix the flour, salt and baking soda together.
In the bowl of your mixer, beat the butter and sugar together.
Beat in the milk mixture. Then  gradually beat in 1/3 flour mixture 1/3 buttermilk. Repeat the operation until you put everything.
Pour the batter into the tube pan and place in the oven. Bake for 70 minutes.
