Grilled Peaches with Bourbon Sauce

This dessert is really nice. First because it's really easy to prepare. Second because it is made from fresh fruit. It's different from these chocolate desserts everybody is cooking. tt's not an "heavy" and it is easy to eat as it is easy to prepare.

Ingredients:

2 ripe peaches, peeled
¼ cup bourbon
2 tablespoons butter
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ cup brown sugar
One pinch salt
Vanilla ice cream, to serve

Method

Slice each peach into halves and remove the pit. Set aside in a baking dish.
Heat the butter in a saucepan. Pour in the bourbon sauce. Sprinkle the brown sugar into the pan followed by a dash of ground cinnamon and cook over medium heat until the sugar melts; stir occasionally.
Once the sauce starts bubbling, transfer it into a jar and save for later. Meanwhile, grill the fruits on a preheated outdoor grill for 3-4 minutes until they are charred slightly.
Place two halves on each serving plate and drizzle the prepared sauce on top.
Add a large scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of each serving and serve right away.
